Download data from SpinOne to a local device

If you ever need to download data from SpinOne to a local device, please use the following instructions as guidance.


Go to www.spinbackup.com and tap “LOG IN” on the top right corner of your page.



Click on “Login” to “SpinOne for Office 365”, found in the middle of your screen.

Insert your email address and password, or simply “Sign in With Microsoft”!

Click on Users, found on the top left of your Spinbackup dashboard.

You will now see a list of all your licensed and activated Users in SpinOne. Select the User whose data you would like to download, by unfolding their data through clicking the upwards arrow button. Proceed to click on Outlook of the selected user.

By pressing the Versioning Date button from the top, choose the backup version that corresponds to the restore point, to which you want to recover the account. You can choose the required version by finding it in the list or choosing the required date in the calendar. When the version is chosen, press Ok.

Please note: SpinOne saves the last 100 backup versions, which corresponds to the last 100 days.




Press Restore.


In a new window, select the email address from your tenant of the user you want to send the restored mailbox to. You can select only among users who are licensed and activated on SpinOne. Then press Restore again to continue.


The system will notify you as soon as the restoration process is done. You can find the restored mailbox in the “Restored by Spinbackup at … “ folder.


When your Outlook restoration process is complete, go back to SpinOne, and click on OneDrive from the bottom left panel.

In OneDrive, follow the same steps as with Outlook. Select the Version.




Press Restore.







Select the user you would like data restored to, and proceed to press Restore again.



The system will notify you as soon as the restoration process is done. You can find the restored drive in the “Restored by Spinbackup at … “ folder.


Go back to SpinOne. Click on Contacts from the bottom left panel.


In Contacts, follow the same steps as with the previous services. Select the Version.


Press Restore.


Select the user you would like data restored to, and proceed to press Restore again.


The system will notify you as soon as the restoration process is done. You can find the restored contacts in the “Restored by Spinbackup at … “ folder.


Go back to SpinOne. Click on Calendars from the bottom left panel.


In Calendars, follow the same steps as with the previous services. Select the Version.

Press Restore.



Select the user you would like data restored to, and proceed to press Restore again.


The system will notify you as soon as the restoration process is done. You can find the restored contacts in the “Restored by Spinbackup at … “ folder.



Congratulations! You have successfully recovered the data.
